In Germany alone, it is estimated that over 100,000 people regularly inflict wounds on themselves and the numbers are increasing. They injure themselves with razor blades, glass shards or knives. They burn, scratch or cut themselves. What drives these people to destroy themselves? What are the chances for recovery? An enlightening and suspenseful documentary about two women who had their own personal experience with self-destruction.
