From October 2011 to March 2012, we accompanied patients and their doctors in the University Heart Center in Freiburg. Their stories are the focus of the five and three-part series "The Heart Docs – Stories from Freiburg University Hospital".
The result is a close observation of people in an existential situation: the body’s engine is threatening to fail. The stories are about diseases that go straight to the heart.
