The 1960’s are considered to be the decade of the sexual revolution. The beginning, however, was awkward. Witnesses of the time remember their first kiss in dimly-lit cellar bars and wild fumbling around in the cinema. It was only with the birth-control pill that everything changed: the once "well-behaved" young women became insubordinate and got organized. Shared housing became the chosen way of life for young people.
